About Sunhill Nursing Home
Sunhill Nursing Home is a modern, all ground floor purpose-built 102 bed Nursing Home. We are situated in the picturesque and vibrant village of Termonfeckin, Co. Louth, just seven minutes drive from Drogheda.
Our staff are our most important asset, and we strive to employ and retain the best people by providing a rewarding place of work. We are committed to the ongoing training and development of our staff, using a full ongoing training program. Our belief and experience is that when our team is settled and happy they give of their best, stay with us, get to know our residents better and everyone is better off.

Bedrooms
We have 88 single rooms and also have 7 twin rooms for those with a preference to share.
We operate in three separate units, as follows:
- SEAPOINT (34 beds)
- BALTRAY (34 beds)
- SANDPIT (34 beds)
All bedrooms are en suite, have a television, 24 hour nurse call system, telephone and internet connections. Free Wi-Fi is available in the house. All bedrooms are spacious and well appointed.
Outdoor Space & Parking
Outside, we have six courtyard gardens for residents to enjoy, which boast a wide variety of shrubs and flowers in sheltered areas.
Most of our bedrooms also have a door directly onto the garden.
There is ample free car parking in front and at the rear of the building.
Pastoral & Spiritual Care
Residents may attend religious services either within or outside the home if they so desire. Many of our residents like to use our wifi to attend online.
If services are outside the home, the Resident should, if necessary and where possible, arrange for transport and accompaniment with friends or relatives.
Residents have the right to meet clergy of their chosen denomination at any time. If required, a private room will be made available for such meetings.
Food & Nutritional Care

Activities
At Sunhill Nursing Home we provide a programme of activities for our residents. We put a lot of time and effort into this, because our experience is that those who stay socially connected as they age do better (this applies both in and out of nursing homes).
Our Activities Manager completes a weekly plan of activities which are aimed to ensure our residents maintain as much social connection and stimulation as possible.
