About Raheny House
Welcome to Raheny House Nursing Home, where we pride ourselves on providing our residents with the highest standards of professional comfort and care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Since it was established in 2003, Raheny House Nursing Home has been effectively maintained and upgraded through a series of major improvement works. These have been designed to enable us to deliver the highest standards of residential amenity, service, and care.

Bedrooms
All bedrooms are spacious and well appointed.
Raheny House Nursing Home has 37 single rooms, and 3 double rooms where the Resident shares the room with one other Resident. The maximum number of Residents that can be accommodated in Raheny House Nursing Home is 43.
All bedrooms have a television, 24 hour nurse call system, telephone and internet connections. Free Wi-Fi is available in the house.

Pastoral & Spiritual Care
Raheny House Nursing Home respects all religious denominations and caters for their spiritual needs.
Our ethos and philosophy reflect our care and concern for the holistic person.
We therefore see our care embracing the physical, social and spiritual aspect of each person. Pastoral Care arrangements are promoted to meet the Residents’ individual wishes and Ministers of Religion are made welcome in the Nursing Home.
All religious services are arranged within Raheny House Nursing Home:
- Daily prayers with communion at 12 midday
- Weekly mass on a Saturday evening
- Legion of Mary visits
- Easy access to local Mass in local churches.
- A programme dedicated to the religious calendar is arranged.
Participation in any of these events / activities is a personal choice.
Food & Nutritional Care
Our chefs and catering staff are dedicated to serving healthy, balanced, nutritious, attractive, and appetising food.
We work with each resident and their family to create a dedicated food plan for each resident, taking into account their likes and dislikes, as well as their dietary and nutritional needs.
Meals are served daily in our dining room or, if a resident so wishes, in his or her bedroom and residents can choose from varied daily menus.
All meals are prepared and cooked by qualified chefs and trained catering staff in accordance with strict food safety, in a modern, well-equipped kitchen and food preparation area.
Special diets and dietary requirements are catered for on an individual basis.
Snacks, tea, and coffee are available to residents at any time.

The residents of Raheny House enjoy the benefits of dedicated Activities Coordinators. The purpose of this role is to arrange and carry out a variety of meaningful activities that enhance the daily lives of our residents.
The Activity Team regularly meets with the residents to seek their views and comments on day-to-day activities in the home.
These range from in house regular games, competitions, pastimes to seasonal celebrations, classes in painting arts and crafts, outings to local or nearby points of interest and many other activities of fun and interest. We also enjoy the benefits of the Garda Band and choir who attend to perform at regular intervals throughout the year.
