Greystones Nursing Home was delighted to be the main sponsor this year’s Two Marys Golf Classic.
The Two Mary’s Golf Classic was initiated 20 years ago, celebrating the memory of Mary Nolan and her daughter Mary Bradshaw, who tragically died within a week of each other. In that time, over €100,000 have been raised for Greystones Cancer Support.
We had a great turnout on a day when the sun shone and everyone looked fabulous!
The winners on the day were (drum roll please!):
7th place – Keith McDonnell, Ray Crotty, Chris Boylan and David Byrne (53.6)
6th place – Robert Bradshaw, Sahara Bradshaw, Thomas Bradshaw and Joe Broughan (53.4)
5th place – Kevin Barry, David McInerny, Trevor Davis and Vinny Heffernan (53.4, back 9)
4th place – Philip Martin, David Martin, Murt Davis and Adam Packman (53.1)
3rd place – David O’Toole, Jimmy O’Toole, George O’Brien and Jamie McDonald (52.8)
2nd place – Darren McCormack, Ashton McCormack, Derek McCormack and Craig McCormack (52.9, back 9)
The winning team on the day was Anto Byrne, Karl Holmes, John Byrne and Dylan Holmes, on 51.7.
Big congrats to all the winners, and well done to the Bradshaws and the Nolans for once again pulling together a great day and raising some much needed funds for a great charity. Also, many thanks to our hosts Greystones Golf Club for attending to everything so well.
