Applications are invited for the position of Staff Nurse at Mullinahinch Nursing Home, Co Monaghan. An established home, catering for the care and accommodation of 41 residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to further their career with one of Ireland’s leading private nursing home operators.

The role of a Clinical Nurse Manager is to provide leadership and support to our care and nursing staff whilst maintaining the highest quality of individualized, person-centered care for our residents. The successful candidate will together with the Management team, implement a best practice approach to all aspects of clinical leadership ensuring that the residents of Raheny Nursing Home receive the highest standard of care.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in building and maintaining relationships and strong communication skills at all levels, the ability to foster and inspire excellent teamwork, have demonstrated leadership characteristics, and have and good knowledge of HIQA standards. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role with a keen eye for detail, strong documentation, and medication management skills.

The position is being offered on a full-time permanent basis. Applicants must be fully flexible across Monday to Sunday.

The main purpose of the role is;

To ensure that all residents receive care appropriate to their individual needs To provide leadership to the homes staff thus improving standards and maintaining a high morale amongst the team To ensure that everything we do reflects the privacy, dignity and respect of our residents and underpins all the basic values that contribute to an excellent quality of life.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Will be Registered with NMBI
  • Nursing Degree from a recognised 3rd level Institution.
  • Experience in a similar role
