International Women’s Day\u00a0(March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.\u00a0 As a group of ten nursing homes, women play an enormous role in our organisation – occupying senior positions in management and service delivery across the individual homes and at group level.<\/span><\/p>

The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day was Embracing Equity, which is something that is hugely important to us, particularly as we have such a wide range of nationalities and diverse customs at play across our 900-strong team.<\/p>

Each of our homes marked the day with a coffee morning where our hardworking female staff could just relax with a coffee and a pastry and catch up with each other. Each did it in their own way, with Castlebridge Manor doing a nail salon for female residents as well!<\/p>
